Many seasons ago, a flood rampaged through the forest, which was home to four Clans: ThunderClan, ShadowClan, RiverClan, and WindClan. In the end, it destroyed the entire forest, causing the Clans to get lost in the process. The Clans traveled to a far away land, away from all familiar areas. Many cats died on the journey, leaving just a pitiful few left. The few survivors became kittypets, rogues, or stayed as part of their Clan, trying to bring them back together. Eventually, the Clans true ancestry was lost beneath everything. No one could answer the question of who founded the original four Clans. The stories and tales of the "Old Life", when they lived peacefully in the forest were lost, the only things that remained were the names of the Clans. Everything seemed grim for the remaining Clan descendants. The Clans were just known as groups, nothing more and nothing less. But, hope shone through eventually, when four brave cats decided to finally restablish the Clans under new identities. The four cats went by the name of: Creek, Summit, Pine, and Dark. They gave names to the Clans once again, named after themselves and their territories, creating the Clans as we know them.
This is how it should be, and this is how it always will be.
SummitClan: These cats are considered to be descendants of WindClan, but some Clans consider them not one of the original four due to how they have changed. With lean bodies and thick fur, they have adapted from life on the moors to life on the mountains.
PineClan: These cats are considered to be the descendants of ThunderClan, they live in the thick forest where they use the undergrowth as an advantage. Their muscular shoulders make them excellent fighters.
DarkClan: These cats are considered to be the descendants of ShadowClan, but have adopted being quick instead of relying on brute strength to win their battles. Their teeth are known to be the sharpest in the world, while their territory, the darkest in the current lands.
CreekClan: These cats are considered to be the descendants of RiverClan, considered the most "pure" of all the Clans due to them being so alike to their ancestors. They are excellent swimmers, and take a lot of pride into their skills.

Sparrowstar grunted, and was about to reply until he heard a yowl from outside his den. Quickly, he ran out to see Ebonypaw hanging off of the edge of the Water Stone. He was going to help until Loki swept in and attempted to help the apprentice. Watching him squirm, the leader got frustrated and lunged forward, hoping to tackle Loki, who was holding the apprentice, into a safe place where Ebonypaw would be out of danger. Gingertail's ears spiked up the second Ebonypaw began to go up on the Water Stone. "Don't you dare go up there! You know it's against the rules!" She assumed she didn't yell loud enough, as her apprentice continued to climb and almost fall. Her heart was racing as she darted over to the Leader's announcement area and swiftly lept up, adrenaline pumping. The ginger molly was lucky to not slip on the wet moss as she carelessly leapt up and up. Before she made it, Gingertail saw the brown leader dart forwards, most likely in an attempt to save Ebonypaw and Loki.

Ebonypaw whimpered "I'm sorry I just wanted to be sneaky to prove to you I will be a good hunter." he said. The small kit truly was sorry but he didn't get why he had to be yelled at when he could have been seriously injured.
Loki rubbed his head as he was pushed to the side "Hey you don't need to be as aggresive as a small young dog." he complained. The big tom jumped down the steps so he was standing next to the others "Young one you should know better, I had a brother like you his name was Thor and he broke his leg many times doing stuff like that." he said "He was lucky enough to be a kitty-pet so the two-legs instantly took care of him but medicine cats will have to work harder and waste their time on trying to heal your leg." he said.
Salmonfoot turned to Loki, anger still burning in her green eyes. "You could have been killed, why are you defending his ignorance?" She hissed, slightly bewildered.
She was unaware that she was being a bit too aggressive, but she thought this Apprentice would know far better than to do something so mouse-brained.
"I'm sorry I just wanted to be sneaky to prove to you I will be a good hunter."
What? She didn't pay much attention to the cat's words at first, as Loki quickly spoke after, but now she thought them over. Well, I truly am impressed. She thought sarcastically.
Adrenaline still rushed through her limbs, making her ears tremble, her words harsh and bitter unlike her usual self. She glanced quickly towards her Leader, then Apprentice, then back to Loki to see what the white tom would say or do.
The female warrior had skidded to a complete stop, but on her way down, slipped and tumbled down two rocks, hitting her head on the ground. Ouch. She grumbled before rushing over to Ebonypaw, her eyes flashing with anger. "Ebonypaw! What in StarClan's name were you thinking? Showing us that you could be a good hunter? That isn't a way to show us, and isn't a way you want to get harmed. You could have gotten killed!" She shoved her paw out to swat him across the face, claws sheathed. "Because of this, you have to clean all of the Warrior and Apprentice nests for a whole moon. I hope that's a reasonable punishment, Sparrowstar." Sparrowstar shook his head to clear the dizziness away. "Sorry, I had to do something to assure you'd both be alright," the tom mewed, "as for you, Ebonypaw, that is no excuse for doing something so stupid. You could have gotten both you and Loki killed!" He growled, then glanced at the surrounding cats. "As you all should know, apprentices climbing up the Water Stone without permission and assistance is both against the rules, and extremely dangerous. There is a reason why they must be guided! It is slippery and sharp, if you fall you could get horrible injuries, or worse, die, since we don't really have a Medicine Cat who can aid you or anyone else at the moment." The brown leader huffed, and turned his attention to Ebonypaw's mentor. "Yes, that's suitable." LunaTheMoon, Ғiѳгұ
