SummitClan Camp
The camp of these cats is in a cave a little way up the mountain. Bushes block out most of the wind that comes in from the entrance, but since the opening is quite big there is often a breeze blowing through the main cave. The cave is quite vast, separating into many smaller caves where cats make their dens away from the breeze. Unfortunately the floor is quite bumpy and has to be carpeted with much moss before anyone can lay comfortably on its surface.
Leader's Den
Entering the cave, if you look to your right you will see a small, thin opening in the wall. It's big enough for a cat to fit in with ease, but small enough so that not much cold can get in from outside. The inside of the den is nothing remarkable, it simply being a small cave big enough for maybe just three or four cats to fit in.
Medicine Den
Just past the Leader's Den is the Medicine Den. It has a wider entrance and has much more space. To get inside you need to go up two rock steps, as it is an elevated space. At the back wall, jutting out rocks made small ledges where rocks herbs can be stored.
Nursery
The last cave on the right side of the main cave is the nursery. When you stand in the cave entrance the nursery can't be seen, for it is around a corner. On either side of the den entrance are two medium sized rocks where kits like to climb and play.
Apprentices' Den
On the left side of the main cave a little down the wall from the entrance is an opening that leads to the apprentices' den. It's nothing unusual, except for the fact that it has the highest ceiling out of all the caves. All voices are amplified in here, so that whispers are much louder than they are meant to be.
Warriors' Den
This den is rather unusual. Once you walk past the opening to the apprentice den, you will notice that to your left the ground is much lower there, and drops down. There is still a level strip of rock before you that you can walk on to go to the main meeting area of camp. Jump down to your left into the landing space that is big enough to fit at least six cats, and turn so that you are facing the strip of rock. You will now see a hollow area under the strip, and that is where the warriors' den is.
Elders' Den
Following the strip of rock further down past where the warriors' den is, you will come to the last cave opening. It is the elders' den, its opening across from that of the nursery's.
Camp Meeting Area
If you were to enter the cave and follow the rock strip all the way down past all the other smaller caves, eventually you would come to a wide opening where light can come through, and beyond it, the main meeting area. It is large a roomy, a place where the cats like to gather. Unfortunately, since this cave is the farthest from the cave entrance, it is often a little dark, like the sun has just begun to set.
Rock Ledge
On the far wall of the meeting area, there is a rock ledge jutting out from the wall. It's just low enough for a cat to jump on, and it's where announcements are made.
Fresh Kill Pile
A small, low alcove in the meeting area wall is where the prey is kept.
Emergency Exit
Luckily, there is a small emergency exit just in case. It is a small hole in the wall of the meeting area that leads outside. To keep out the cold, the hole is always stuffed with branches and leaves, but if need be they can be removed. It is a tight squeeze though, just big enough for an adult to get through. For the kits that want to sneak outside, the fact that cats are always milling around in the cave makes escaping difficult, and pretty impossible.
